Testing a browser fingerprint

Checkers are free, useful and constantly misread. The number people fixate on is the least actionable thing they report.

Reading this rating. Scores are computed from published vendor figures read on 2026-08-20, not from private measurement. We do not rate detection resistance, because it cannot be measured honestly from outside — see method.

What a checker actually measures

Fingerprint checkers read the signals a website can read and report them back. They are useful, free and worth running. They are also frequently misread, because the number people fixate on is the least actionable thing on the page.

A sequence that finds real problems

  1. 01Test the profile, not your normal browser

Open the checker inside the antidetect profile you actually intend to use, with its proxy attached. Testing your everyday browser tells you nothing about the profile.

  2. 02Check the WebRTC section first

This is where a misconfigured setup announces a real IP while everything else routes through the proxy. It is the single most common and most damaging leak.

  3. 03Compare timezone and language against the proxy geo

A German residential IP reporting a New York timezone and en-US locale is a contradiction the platform sees before it sees anything clever.

  4. 04Run a second checker

Tools disagree because they read different signal sets. One passing and another failing tells you more than either alone.

  5. 05Repeat after every update

Browser and application updates change reported values. Nativ Browser publishes a changelog with dated releases, which makes it easy to know when to retest; most vendors do not.

Questions

How do I test my browser fingerprint?
Open a fingerprint checker in the profile you want to test and read the report. The useful part is not the uniqueness score at the top but the individual signal values further down, and whether they are consistent with each other.
What does a good result look like?
Not a low uniqueness score — that is often unachievable and chasing it can make you stranger, not blander. A good result is internal consistency: user agent, font list, timezone, language and WebRTC address all describing the same plausible machine in the same plausible place.
Do checker scores mean my accounts are safe?
No. A checker measures what it can read in one visit. Platforms combine that with account history, payment data and behaviour over weeks. A clean checker report is a necessary condition, not a sufficient one.
Which checker should I use?
More than one, because they read different signal sets and disagree. Cross-checking is how you catch a signal one tool ignores — WebRTC leaks being the classic example.
Why does my fingerprint change between visits?
Some signals are genuinely unstable: browser updates change the user agent, screen values change with scaling, and some antidetect browsers randomise per session by design. Stability across a session matters more than stability across months.
